Program
Muhammad Nur Ali Akbar (Indonesia):  The Petrophysical Point of View for Evaluating the Unconventional Organic-Rich Mudstone Potential

The presentation will contain the background of the reason why we have to explore and develop the unconventional organic-rich shales (for general economic and world energy resources). Then, continue to the geological and engineering parts to evaluate and estimate the quality of reservoir and completion action for the plan of field development. In general, there would be comparisons between conventional and unconventional resources and the methods for evaluating its potential. Further, I will also demonstrate the potential resources of unconventional shale in some world countries.

Medet Junussov (Kazakhstan): Selective chemical extraction of invisible precious metals and heavy metals of a carbonaceous-siltstone rock in the Bakyrchik black shale gold deposit, Kazakhstan

The lecture comprises the experimental method with three chemical reagents (hydroxyl ammonium chloride, hydrogen peroxide and aqua regia) on three stages for extractions and concentrations of  "invisible Au-Ag from arsenic-sulfide minerals (arsenic pyrite with As 1.4 w% - 4.8 w% and arsenopyrite) and heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Cu, Fe and As) from sulfide-ore minerals of the carbonaceous-siltstone rock sample.

Jenő Csongrádi Dr (Hungary): Ore exploration geology and geophysics in the Gobi-Altay region, Mongolia

Having several decades of Mongolian field experience, the lecture highlights the most recent survey of mineralized areas in the Gobi Altaj region.
